" I met Mr. Samy Nashabe a year ago (September, 2015) and had pleasure to interact and collaborate with him for more than 12 months. During that period, Mr. Nashabe attended three courses I taught at Utah State University and also worked as a member of my research team for more than 9 months. The courses Mr. Nashabe has taken are: Introduction to Power Electronics, Design of Electric Vehicles Laboratory, and Fundamentals of Electric Power Systems. In all of these courses, Mr. Nashabe was always among the best students in class. For me as a teacher, it was a pleasure observing how his understanding and knowledge was growing over the course period, which demonstrates his high potential for further engineering development. Mr. Nashabe joined my research group on January 2016, where he worked on a project related to wireless charging of a bus. Over that period he was assigned three different tasks, dealing with problems such as i) wireless communication and GPS localization, ii) design of the vehicle detection electronics, and iii) finite element modeling of magnetic couplers. Over that period Mr. Nashabe demonstrated very high motivation and hard-work, taking all tasks seriously and responsibly. Considering the limited time, he made an excellent progress in all of these tasks. Especially impressive to me was how fast he learned the Ansys FEM software tool, being capable after two months to simulate and analyze very complicated magnetic structures. He also demonstrated excellent communication skills, as well as the ability of industry-like work progress documenting and reporting, a skill often not found at universities. Mr. Nashabe is very punctual and dedicated to his work when he is in the lab. Even more, there are many occasions when he used his weekend time to finish some unfinished tasks. I offered Mr. Nashabe to continue his education under my supervision, but he is determined and eager to start his career working in the industry. To conclude, it is really my pleasure to recommend Mr. Samy Nashabe, since I have no doubt that he will be a very valuable member at your company. "

Samy’s position required daily interaction with school administrators, teachers, USU tutors and elementary school students. Samy did an excellent job of diplomatically balancing the needs of the many different groups involved in our program to provide the best possible supplemental instruction to the students we serve. His communication skills are excellent at all levels and he did an fantastic job with the kids.
